Fence services around Charlotte

Three fence repair services and deck repair, each with a published price, and three kinds of new fence quoted from your photos and the layout. Every price is installed, plus tax, confirmed after the final measure. The written quote is free.

Deck repair

We also fix decks: boards, joists, posts, stairs, rails and the ledger board at the house. Most deck repairs are $450 to $9,000, installed, plus tax, confirmed after the final measure.

Repairs only here. New decks and staining are done by our sister company, same phone number. If your deck needs more than a repair, the written quote says so.

New fences

New fences: wood $35 to $42 per linear foot, vinyl $69 to $76 per linear foot, aluminum $66 to $80 per linear foot, installed, plus tax. Tell us the rough length of each run, the height and the style, and we send a written quote.

Chain link

Ask us. If chain link fits your yard, we tell you whether we can take it on and quote it from your photos.

Glass pool fences

Frameless glass pool fences are installed by our sister company, Carolina Glass Railing. Pool barrier rules differ by town, so check yours first.

How every quote works

You send two or three photos and the rough sizes. We send a free written quote, usually the same business day. There is no free visit to quote: if your project needs a visit before we can price it, we tell you up front, before anyone drives out.

Our per-foot prices are in the fence cost per foot guide. For a new fence, get your estimate in 3 taps: pick the fence, tap about how many feet, tell us where to text it.

After you say yes, we confirm the exact sizes on site as part of the job. For a new fence we call 811 first so the utilities are marked, and we help with the drawing your HOA asks for.

North Carolina projects of $40,000 or more are contracted through our licensed general contractor partner. South Carolina projects over $5,000 go through our licensed partner too.

How to measure a fence line: measure each straight run, note the height, count the gates, then text two or three photos

Measure it yourself in 5 minutes

Just a tape measure. Text us the sizes and two or three photos, and we send you a free written quote. If you say yes, we confirm the exact sizes on site as part of the job.

  1. Measure each straight run. Walk the line where the fence is or will go. Measure corner to corner in feet and call the runs A, B, C. You do not need to plan posts or panels; we lay those out.
  2. Note the height and style. Is it 4 feet or 6 feet tall? Privacy boards, pickets with gaps, or rails? For a new fence, tell us the style you want.
  3. Count the gates. How many gates, and how wide each opening is. A single walk gate is usually 3 to 4 feet; a double gate for a mower or a car is wider.
  4. For a repair, count the damage. How many posts lean, how many boards are broken, and how long the damaged section is. Close is fine.
  5. Take two or three photos. One of the whole fence line from a few steps back, one close-up of the damage or of the ground where the new fence goes, and one of the gate if you have one.
  6. Send it for a free written quote. Text the sizes and photos to (704) 750-9173 or upload them on our photo quote page. We send a free written quote. After you say yes, we confirm the exact sizes on site as part of the job.
